Developed by Harebrained Schemes (the good people behind Crimson: Steam Pirates and the original Shadowrun), Strikefleet Omega pits you in a spacebound struggle against the alien Hive Queen and her Brood. Earth has been destroyed, and you’re humanity’s last hope. Get out there and make us look good.
Achieving victory in Starfleet Omega means warping around different star systems and enduring wave after wave of attacks from the creepy crawlies. You also need to slip under the bugs’ notice long enough to mine crystals, which are necessary for calling in oh-so-precious reinforcements. Some available friends include particle projection cannons, Starfleet carriers, artillery gunships, bomber carriers, and more.
Each ship fleet attacks according to how you move your finger across the screen. A tap will unleash the fury of your artillery gunships, whereas your particle projectile cannons can be directed by dragging a path for their fire.
