Spirit Walkers: Curse of the Cypress coming soon from Orchid Games

A group of female friends go on a hiking trip but things soon take a turn for the spooky in Spirit Walkers: Curse of the Cypress Witch, an upcoming point-and-click adventure game from Orchid Games (makers of Heartwild Solitaire and Royal Trouble).

When one of the hikers is seriously injured, the group look for help and end up at the foot of a majestic cypress tree. There, the ghost of a young woman appears and offers to help in return for a favor: you must travel to a different time and dimension to right a terrible wrong.

In Curse of the Cypress Witch you’ll visit locations across two different realms: the “real world” and the ethereal dimension of magic. Some actions are only possible in this second magical dimension, and you’ll have to travel back and forth in order to complete your quest.

According to the developer, over the course of your journey you’ll explore an old hotel, fix a steamboat, save a Native American wedding, and meet and talk to almost a dozen different characters.

Spirit Walkers: Curse of the Cypress Witch will be available soon for PC and Mac.
