Man oh man, do the developers at Prettygreat ever like sliding things. In their first game, Land Sliders, you were sliding (wait for it…) the land underneath a player’s feet. They’ve just announced their second game, Slide the Shakes, and it’s about sliding — y’know what? I’m just going to bet you’ve figured it out by now.
Much like the coolest bartender in every movie ever, Slide the Shakes is a game about sliding a drink down to the end of the bar and landing in just the right location. (BONUS: because you don’t need booze to have fun, the drinks you’ll be serving up are milkshakes).
You’ll control the drink by pulling back to determine the strength of each slide, and you’ll need to get it just right if you want to complete every level. After all, these aren’t your standard, run-of-the-mill countertops. You’ll need to clear gaps, climb ramps, navigate ice and more.
Like Prettygreat’s previous game, Slide the Shakes is designed by Luke Muscat (better known as the brains behind Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride). It’s hard to find a finer mobile gaming pedigree than that.
Slide the Shakes will be available as a free download when it launches on the App Store this Thursday, February 25th.
