Nintendo is set to make history with its first major mobile debut, and guess what? You’re invited.

In fact, the whole thing kind of can’t happen without you.

That’s because Nintendo’s app, Miitomo, is based around social conversations and Q&A. Users can ask one another fun and weird questions via the app, from innocent queries (“Do you believe in aliens?”) to potentially friendship-ruining choices (“If a friend had a hair sticking out of their nose, would you tell them?”)

Like its name suggests, your avatar in Miitomo is represented through Mii figures, the now-famous video game avatars that debuted on the Wii.

Miitomo launches in March for iOS and Android, but starting on February 17, you can sign up early using email, social media accounts, or your Nintendo Network ID. If you do so, you’ll get a notification when the app goes live, plus you’ll receive an early-signer bonus.

Miitomo’s day of birth also signals the beginning of Nintendo’s new My Nintendo rewards program, which is replacing the now defunct Club Nintendo. Miitomo will tie into the new rewards program, though it’s not yet clear how.

This is hardly the end of Nintendo’s plans for mobile, either. We should see four more apps and / or games by the end of March 2017.
