When I went to Twitter last fall to try and take the pulse of the community on which games were the best of 2015, Sage Solitaire came up more than once. In our end-of-year retrospective, we called it one of the best games you didn’t play. It netted a nearly perfect score in our review.

In short, Sage Solitaire is a fabulous card game — and as of this Thursday, it will be available on Android.

Zach Gage, the creator of Sage Solitaire, has partnered with the Android-port-powerhouse Noodlecake to bring the game to Google Play. If you’re a fan of solitaire or poker, you’ll find Sage Solitaire to be a unique mix of the two (and pretty much impossible to put down).

Even better, players won’t need to ante up for a buy-in. Sage Solitaire will be a free download, with additional game modes available through in-app purchase. Expect it on Google Play this Thursday, February 4th.
