Robinson Crusoe and the Cursed Pirates Preview, video, and screen shots.

MagicIndie Softworks, our favorite game developers we know in Moldovia (and coincidently, the only developers we know in Moldovia) is readying the release of their upcoming hidden object adventure, Robinson Crusoe and the Curse Pirates.

Like it’s predecessor The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, the new game promises to have beautiful graphics, a ghostly story, and a good/interesting sense of humor.

Here’s the plot from the game’s official web site, which I’m pretty sure differs slightly from the classic Robinson Crusoe storyline:

“After escaping the inhabited island, Robinson Crusoe sets sail for England. Four weeks later, he and his friend Friday encounter an unchartered land mass. Something strange happens to their hands with black spots appearing all over them. The smell of voodoo fills the air.”

In addition to a story that is influenced by the modern Pirates of the Caribbean movies, this game features mini-puzzles that test your Pirate IQ knowledge, cursed pirates, laughing ghosts, and a monkey to insult. Just the monkey twist alone makes this game different from the countless hidden object games we review all the time.
