Righteous Kill Preview

Righteous Kill may not sound like a fitting title for a casual game, but believe it or not it’s a hidden object game from Merscom and Starz Media – based on the upcoming feature film of the same name starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino.

The game is scheduled to come out just before the movie is released in theaters on Sept. 12, 2008. The film stars De Niro and Pacino as two veteran New York City detectives on the trail of a vigilante serial killer, and the game mimics that storyline by casting you as a rookie cop newly assigned to a special division of the NYPD dedicated to capturing vigilante killers.

Righteous Kill will consist of 15 levels, 16 locations and various mini-games. This isn’t the first time Merscom has created a casual game based on a media property: previously, the company teamed up with Lifetime Networks to create Blood Ties, a hidden object game based on the TV show of the same name.
