PuppetShow: Return to Joyville invites players to fix Felicia’s past

You’ve seen the dark side of Felicia on more than one occasion in the PuppetShow series, but what if she wasn’t always so sinister? That’s the question ERS Game Studios is posing in PuppetShow: Return to Joyville, the fourth entry in the franchise.

Return to Joyville will take players back in time to visit the early days of Felicia and The Master. While little has been revealed about the actual story, the developers have confirmed that it will take place during “the terrific time right before Felicia’s heart breaking tragedy, and gives you a challenging chance of being that healing hand.” Could players end up saving Felicia from becoming the villain we all know from previous games? And if so, how will it affect the timeline of the series? With no firm confirmation either way, it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see.

In terms of actual gameplay, ERS are promising “bright, brilliant graphics” and mini-games that feel much more modern than those in the series previous entries.
