Get ready for fashion, fun, and friends with My Moviestar: Dream High

The entertainment industry is full of sharks, wolves, and jackals—all dressed up in gorgeous outfits, stylish accessories, and dabbed with expensive colognes and perfumes. My Moviestar: Dream High is another social iOS game that’s all about rising to the top of the charts from the depths of obscurity, and like all the other games, it takes steps to make sure your climb isn’t an easy one.

 Dream High

My Moviestar: Dream High features Betty, a failed pop idol who was expelled from her position for making repeated mistakes. One day while watching TV (presumably while unemployed and eating corn chips), Betty bears witness to a former rival’s ascension into stardom. Betty decides she can do better, and as the player, it’s your job to help her.

Becoming a star in My Moviestar: Dream High means building up your skills by going from place to place, including acting school, the beauty shop, your agency, and even the bank for when it’s time to cash those sweet, sweet paychecks (you may have to wait a while on that one). You’re responsible for assembling a fab wardrobe, too, and you’ll need all your charms when it’s time to audition for movie roles.

When you think that you have what it takes to go to the top, go ahead and strut your stuff in front of the judges. They have the final word.

The social options implemented in My Moviestar: Dream High should make the game a hit with younger, energetic players who harbor dreams of stardom. If you’re looking to return to the public eye, grab the game and strut on June 12.
