With more than 5 million downloads in its first four days, Mr. Jump is a mobile game that’s taking the world by storm. And what’s more, all 5 million of those downloads happened exclusively on iOS, because the game isn’t available on Android.

At least not yet.

I reached out to developer 1button on Twitter to see if there was any word on an Android release for Mr. Jump. Their response?

While I enjoy the mysterious power of an emoticon as much as the next guy, I had to find out what was really behind that smiley face. I reached out to 1button’s Jérémie Francone, who shed a little more light on the situation.
We are not currently working on the Android version of Mr Jump, but we will probably have to do it soon. As we only work with native SDKs, it may take some time.
So there you have it! 1button isn’t working on it yet, but based on the response Mr. Jump has seen, they seem to agree that it’s a smart move to make.

If you’re an Android gamer looking for something to do in the meantime, check out Mr. Flap. It’s 1button’s fresh take on the Flappy Bird craze, and thus far, their only release on Google Play.
