Vast Studios (Nightfall Mysteries: Asylum Conspiracy) has shared more information with us about Lost Chronicles: Salem, the company’s upcoming hidden object adventure game about a mother and daughter fleeing accusations of witchcraft in Salem, Massachusetts.

During a time of economic, political and religious struggle, the people of a modest farming community are swept up in a current of fear and paranoia. A crusade has been launched by the church to purge the town of those who practice witchcraft. During the last few months, many townspeople have been accused of witchcraft. Many have been arrested, persecuted and some, executed.

Lost Chronicles: Salem is a story about a young girl who needs to save her mother from being put to death after being accused of witchcraft. The game centers on a young woman who has lost her mother due to an accusation of witchcraft. She must travel to different areas of the town of Salem to find where the Puritans have taken her mother. As she discovers the secrets of the town leader and his plot to sacrifice woman due to simple accusations, you as the player must put a stop to his evil plans.

Players will explore the eerie grounds of Salem solving puzzles and hidden object scenes and collecting animal Familiars that are scattered around the town. You’ll also get to discover actual locations, stories, people and events that happened more than 300 years ago, taken from National Geographic archives.

Lost Chronicles: Salem will launch for both PC and Mac.
