Hotel developer Cateia Games is working on a new medieval strategy/simulation game called King’s Legacy. Gamezebo has the scoop with screenshots and more info. At first glance, the game looks a lot like Cateia’s tropical island-themed sim Shaman Odyssey but with a new Middle Ages theme that replaces straw beach huts with stone castles. The story tells the tale of a young prince who has to fight to regain his kingdom after an evil uncle usurps the throne.

At first glance, the game looks a lot like Cateia’s tropical island-themed sim Shaman Odyssey but with a new Middle Ages theme that replaces straw beach huts with stone castles. The story tells the tale of a young prince who has to fight to regain his kingdom after an evil uncle usurps the throne.

Gameplay involves exploring to gather items and learn magic, building structures, and weathering obstacles like evil knights, ghosts and storms. According to Cateia, you can also look forward to in-game achievements to earn, 3D graphics and high-resolution effects, and a detailed and interactive help system.
