Kabam wants to put an army in your pocket with Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North

Do you love social play in the medieval world, but wish you could take it on the go? Then you’re in luck. Kabam is bringing the fun and strategy of the original Facebook Kingdoms of Camelot to iOS very soon with Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North.

This entirely new game is related to the Facebook version, but Kabam is quick to point out that they are definitely not the same games. Rather, they consider Battle for the North to be an extension of the franchise, set to prove that the concept behind the series can work on mobile devices.

Just as in the Facebook version, you will be able to build up your armies in order to send them out in battle against the world. The iOS version features an improved combat system, so that will definitely be welcome to anyone who found the original lacking.

Battling isn’t the only aspect of importance in Battle for the North, as you will also need to forge alliances with other players in order to defend against potential attackers.

It’s a good thing you can form alliances, because you’ll need them in the real-time battles. You can even chat with your opponents to let them know how triumphantly you’re about to squash them.

Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North is already available in the Canadian iTunes App Store, so you should expect it to hit in other regions soon. Subscribe to the game here on Gamezebo to be notified when it hits!
