As part of the generation that grew up on Outrun and Rad Racer (the latter of which CliffyB thinks sucked), there’s a certain nostalgic appeal to a racing game with limited controls. That’s what put Horizon Chase on our radar earlier this year — and now that the game is nearing completion, developer Aquiris has unleashed a gameplay trailer that lets us revel in the late 80’s-ness of it all.
Not only does the trailer show gameplay that seemingly lives up to the game’s promise, it also gives us a tighter idea of when we can expect it. Horizon Chase will drop the checkered flag on the App Store sometime this August.
