Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit Preview
Arkedo is a studio that holds a special place in my heart. They may not be as well-known as… well, any studio out there, really – but over the last four or five years they’ve made some of the neatest little games you can find. They were responsible for the fireworks puzzlers Big Bang Mini on the Nintendo DS. And their Arkedo Series – 03 PIXEL! on Xbox Live’s Indie Games channel is one of the most satisfying yet challenging platforming experiences of the last decade. So when they debuted their newest project at PAX East this year, our ears perked up.

How the bunny prince of Hell got his groove back

Heading to PC’s this summer courtesy of publisher SEGA (as well as Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network, should such things strike your fancy), Arkedo’s next platformer is Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit.
The bunny prince of Hell is not pleased. Some photos of his royal highness have surfaced on the netherworld’s version of rabbit TMZ (or something similar), in which he’s having a grand old time in the bathtub with his rubber duck. Now it’s time to remind his condemned subjects just how much fire and brimstone he can really dish out – and a little vengeance on the rabbit who posted those photos is probably in order too.

Combining adorable visuals and an amazing color palette with action-heavy platforming and microgames sounds like an instant recipe for success – and considering how terrific Arkedo’s platformer PIXEL! was, there’s little doubt about how much fun it should be. Expect to see Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit hit Steam sometime this summer.
