Revolutionary Concepts, the team that gave us UFO on Tape, has announced its next project for iOS: an arcade puzzle game called Gesundheit! The game tells the story of a little pig with allergies – the runt of the litter – who narrowly escapes capture when monsters invade his village, and finds courage he never knew he had as he sets out to save his friends.

The game tells the story of a little pig with allergies – the runt of the litter – who narrowly escapes capture when monsters invade his village, and finds courage he never knew he had as he sets out to save his friends.
Gesundheit! combines hand-drawn visuals and animation with an off-the-wall premise, and controls designed for the ground up for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. You’ll guide the curly-tailed hero on his quest across 40 unique and increasingly challenging levels, filled with mildly gross humor that will appeal to all ages.
“Following the surprise success of our sleeper hit UFO on Tape late last year – and its selection by apple as an essential games starter pick – we doubled down on our desire to make more ‘out of the ordinary’ gaming experiences, andthe opportunity presented itself when renowned TV and film animator Matt Hammill joined our team late last year, bringing with him a gem of a game concept he had been quietly nursing along,” said Revolutionary Concept’s Founder and CEO Wayne Whatford.
Now six months into development, the game sparked the interest of heavyweight videogame publisher Konami, who will be lending their support as publisher of Gesundheit! As part of a multi-game partnership deal that will bring several of Revolutionary Concepts’ upcoming titles to the app store as well.
Gesundheit! has been designed to work on iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch 3rd generation or greater running a minimum of iOS 3.2 and will be available in the Apple App Store and iTunes later this month for the introductory launch price of $0.99 on iPhone/iPod Touch, and $1.99 on iPad. (Normally $1.99 and $2.99).
