Developer Nitrome has put together some pretty cool stuff for mobile recently, including the unique platformer Gunbrick (which features a giant, weaponized metal box – Solid Snake would fall on his knees in worship), and the platformer / runner hybrid Platform Panic that was well-received by our own Spanner Spencer.

And Nitrome isn’t about to rest on its laurels. The inventive studio is getting ready to release Magic Touch: Wizard for Hire, a line-drawing game that’s coming to the App Store, Google Play, and the Amazon App Store on February 25th.

Taken by itself, the title of Magic Touch: Wizard for Hire sounds like a business card for a birthday party wizard you’d never recruit. In actuality, it’s about a wizard (played by you) who defends his castle from airborne invaders by “drawing” magic spells on the screen. There are spells that turn enemies into frogs, spells that lob bombs at them, and best of all, a spell that summons a dragon to clear the screen of unwanted visitors.

Magic Touch: Wizard for Hire looks simple but satisfying. The magic happens next week.
