Deep Realms is a traditional fantasy RPG with a social twist

With the upcoming Deep Realms, Playdom is looking to bring a traditional role playing game to Facebook, but with a social twist. It will feature elements like tile-based exploration and turn-based combat that are staples of the genre, but will also include both competitive and co-operative elements that let players interact with their friends in different ways.

You’ll be able to explore locations like caves and castles, and based on the early screenshots Deep Realms is shaping up to be a very good looking game indeed. But Playdom also says the game will have a rather complex narrative that can be affected both by the choices you make in the game, as well as the ways in which you interact with friends.
