What if you took the avoidance gameplay of games like Color Switch, took colors out of the equation, and turned the whole experience into an endless RPG? You’d probably end up with something that looks a little like Road To Be King.
The next release from mobile mega-publisher Noodlecake Games (with development work by NoHuman Studio), Road To Be King is a one-touch game where players control Edward, a young knight who needs your help to survive through traps and slaughter the bad guys he encounters along the way. Survive long enough, and you’ll have access to a wealth of upgrades, as well as chests that can improve your health, weapons, and spells. Fail, and… well, at least you can check the leaderboard to see if you’ve trumped your friends.
Road To Be King will be available as a free download for both iOS and Android on March 3rd. Until then, we suggest keeping your sword well oiled and ready for battle.
