Art Mogul is a promising-looking casual PC game from a brand new studio called Funzai! It’s not just a HOG, but also combines elements of strategy and business sim as players step into the shoes of an international art dealer.
As you try to advance in your career and build your art empire you’ll be required to visit seven different cities, attend auctions and make bids, complete lucrative requests for clients, acquire new galleries, and expose art fakes – or risk your reputation by selling the fakes yourself.
The HOG mechanic is used creatively as well, from using spot-the-difference puzzles to expose fakes, to searching for objects inside the paintings themselves to barter the price down or distract competitors at auctions.
According to Funzai! There are more than 200 paintings to explore, from masters including Van Gogh, monet, Klimt, Titian, and Rembrandt, along with more than 1,000 different hidden objects to search for.
