Adelantado Trilogy: Book One Preview

Explore the New World in Realore’s upcoming strategy game Adelantado

In the Age of Discovery, the leaders of Spain are interested in expanding the country’s grasp via uncharted territories overseas (that they believe are full of gold and riches). The Spanish Queen has assigned a group of explorers to the task, but when the expedition falls silent, an officer by then name of Don Diego De Lion is called in to investigate.

In Realore’s upcoming real time strategy game Adelantado, you’ll play as De Lion as he’s promoted to the title of Adelantado, a caretaker and governor of new lands. You’ll make your way to the new world and must do everything in your power to save the surviving members of the Queen’s expedition while also claiming as much gold for the crown as you can along the way.

Each level in Adelantado has a different set of goals, but your main objective will be to collect a certain amount of gold by completing tasks and then freeing any surviving expedition members that you happen to come across. This casual RTS will allow you to manage your resources in real time, as you must balance the use of food, gold, stone and other materials in each stage. You’ll explore underground cave systems, lush jungles, rivers and more in large maps that contain both main missions and side-quests for you to complete as you see fit.

You’ll be challenged by native creatures that inhabit these new worlds, and will also need to watch out for a group of hired thugs, out to steal the glory of saving the expedition before you have a chance to complete your mission. These enemies will not only slow you down, but they’ll also block your access to specific areas of the maps, forcing you to battle and defeat them to progress.
