A Song for Viggo’s Gameplay Showcased in New Video

When we first featured A Song for Viggo on June 12th, we were taken aback by the bravery needed to tackle such intense subject matter. Not every game developer sets out to make a game about the accidental death of a child (and the grief that follows).

We were engaged by the concept, as well as the presentation, but we hadn’t actually seen the game in action yet. Developer Simon Karlsson has rectified that as of today by showcasing the game’s point-and-click nature in a short gameplay video, in which our protagonist summons the courage to arrange his son’s funeral.

With only five days left, the Kickstarter project for this one is still about $4000 short of its humble $20k goal. You can help them close the gap by visiting A Song for Viggo’s crowdfunding page here.
