World of Rune, the adorable browser-based fantasy MMORPG from R2 Games, is coming to mobile on April 25th.
Naturally, that means the pre-registration campaign is happening right now. Signing up will bag you a whole host of rewards, including Moonlight Stone *10, Orichalcum *150, Pet EXP *100, Star Stone Shard *50, and more.
In case you haven’t played World of Rune on the R2 Games platform, here’s what to expect.
World of Rune is a massively multiplayer RPG set on a fantasy continent full of magic, adventures, and cutesy characters with massive eyes.
Gameplay-wise, it sees you picking a class – Swordsman, Mage, Archer, and Cleric are the options – before setting out to explore the game’s vast open world.
There are countless quests to complete, dungeons to take on, and battles to (hopefully) win. You can team up with friends and pets, too, giving you the chance to topple powerful bosses, unlock new areas, and find hidden treasures.
Interestingly, World of Rune also comes with a unique card system. There are more than 100 cards to collect, each bestowing their own unique abilities and stats.
Not only can you become stronger by collecting cards, but you can level these cards up to unlock new abilities and powers.
As you play the campaign you’ll also add partners and pets to your entourage, before deploying them to give you an edge on the battlefield.
Plus, there are boss fights, dungeon loot drops, MVP monsters, and pretty much everything you’d expect to find in a top tier mobile RPG.
Meanwhile, the original browser-based version of World of Rune has just been updated to version 1.07, which adds gameplay enhancements, exciting new content, and a whole new mode called Pyramid Treasure.
