The Eternal Fury Valentine’s Day event is here, allowing you to celebrate the most romantic day of the year (or the loneliest, depending on your relationship status) by banking some amazing in-game rewards.
We’ll get to those later. First, here’s a quick recap for those of you who are not yet familiarwith Eternal Fury’s genre-bending gameplay and epic story.
Gameplay-wise, Eternal Fury is a turned-based strategy-RPG that sees you creating a stronghold, expanding your territory, and getting into lots of fights with AI opponents and other players.
These fights involve upgradeable mercenaries and heroes culled from a diverse array of global mythologies. There’s Merlin, Thor, Frigga, Blathnat, Cu Roi, Minos, and Gullveig, each one belonging to a different class and wielding their own unique skills and specialties.
Eternal Fury also contains dungeons, mounts, quests, time-limited events, and all the gameplay features you’d expect to find in a top-tier browser-based strategy game.
Then there’s the backstory, which is as dramatic as they come. You’re basically caught up in a war between the gods and the giants, who live together in the Divine Realm, and also Hel, goddess of the Underworld, who has decided to invade the human world through a hellish portal called the Underworld Gate.
Eternal Fury started life as a mobile game before making the jump to browsers, and it has continued to evolve on Game Hollywood Games. The most recent update added airships, monster sieges, and a whole new area called Neoland.
