Crypt of the Necrodancer

Roguelike meets rhythm! Explore a dungeon, but keep moving to the beat unless you want to end up in the stomach of some terrifying disco dangers. Crypt of the NecroDancer is a quirky twist on a familiar genre that saw rave reviews in its initial PC release. We’re pleased to report it’s just as much fun on mobile devices.

Suicide Squad: Special Ops

One of this summer’s biggest movies received a surprise (and spectacular) mobile release this month, giving players the chance to step into the shoes of three different anti-heroes as they try to survive as long as possible in first-person combat. This one is truly free, too, so don’t worry about in-app purchases muddying down the experience.

Guild of Dungeoneering

Why manage a team of dungeon explorers when you could manage the dungeon? That’s the idea behind Guild of Dungeoneering… sort of. You’ll actually be managing both, building out rooms and placing monsters by drawing cards from a deck, placing them as optimally as you can. It’s a fresh mix of board, card, and roguelike gaming, and it works very well.
