July 2020 has seen a whole bunch of new games landing on the App Store and Google Play Store. There have been so many, in fact, that we thought it was a good idea to make a list of the very best ones. We figured it’d save you some time searching, and we’re nice like that.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

A single player version of the Gwent card game. This is a massive, intriguing RPG with a bunch of cool ideas and a brilliant story. It’s not the cheapest game out there, but there’s so much content you’re not going to feel short-changed.

The multi-million selling third entry in the Layton series finally comes to mobile. It’s been polished up into HD and the controls have been tweaked for touchscreen devices. Expect puzzles, mysteries and plenty of head-scratching time travel too.

Good Sudoku

Zach Gage’s latest game is basically a sudoku trainer. It’s built with such love though that it’s hard not to fall for it. Definitely worth checking out if you’ve got a hankering for putting numbers in boxes.

A gorgeous-looking puzzler that sees you playing as a member of the grim reaper’s team. You need to stay to the shadows, solve puzzles and kill the right people. But, y’know, in a fun and super entertaining way.

MudRunner Mobile

This one’s all about slogging through filth in massive vehicles. Expect realistic terrain, slow-paced trucks and loads and loads and loads of mud. Simulation fans are going to love it.

Soda Dungeon 2

Armor Games brings us another game about soda addicts, massive monsters and loot. Expect strategic RPG battles, a village to rebuild and a particularly ornery dungeon owner who’s sick of you stealing his stuff.

Wave Redux

Wave Redux is both a relaxed geometric racer and a super-difficult speedy dash. It’s easy to pick up and play, but mastering is is reserved for only the twitchiest masters.
