Like last week, there probably won’t be a lot of developers looking to release big new iPhone or iPad games this week. That’s what the combined power of E3 and WWDC bring you: companies a little preoccupied to hit the ‘launch’ button on the App Store.

Having said that…

Dawnbringer

Looking for a pretty new game with some hack’n’slash goodness? The latest release from Kiloo offer an open-world RPG approach, and mixes it with Infinity Blade style combat. Even better, you don’t have to wait for tonight. Dawnbringer launched early and is available on the App Store and Google Play now.

1979 Revolution: Black Friday

After receiving critical acclaim in its PC release earlier this year, this politically charged historical gaming account of the Iranian revolution will be coming to the App Store tonight. Players step into the shoes of a photojournalist in, as the official description call is, a “choice driven, narrative game that brings players into the brooding world of a nation on the verge of collapse.”

Ravenous Games — the studio behind everything from Random Heroes to Devious  Dungeon — has a new game on the App Store right now that embraces a whole new style for the studio. A different look and genre is a bold move for the company, but don’t worry — this one still looks like it will have plenty of action.
