Voxel-art fantasy heroes fighting to defend their kingdom through tower defense? Yeah… That’s going to be hitting my iPhone today.

This one snuck up on us pretty quietly – we didn’t even know it was a thing until it hit the App Store! Light Apprentice promises a mix of “comic book” and “gamebook” unlike anything we’ve seen before.

A new point’n’click outer space adventure with a retro Sierra style. As a Space Quest fan, I believe this is one I’m going to approve of.

Another nice, reliable tower defense game in the Sentinel series. If it’s a genre you’re still asking for more of, Sentinel games are always a fairly safe bet.

It looks stylishly minimal. Sometimes that’s all it takes to sell us. Though the description of players removing a dangerous bacteria “using a microscope, cool tools, wits and your reflexes” doesn’t hurt either.
