Spiders, dice, fish, bears, the building blocks of life — this week’s new iOS releases have it all. (And we’re pretty sure there are a few good games in there, too!)

Did we miss your top pick for this week? Be sure to let us know in the comments or on Twitter.

Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon

Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor was a great game about spider-sized exploration that let you unravel the story of a house. Five years later, its sequel follows a similar pattern; but with a new environment and plenty of new tricks up its sleeve.

Paradise Bay

Regular players of strategy trading games like CastleVille Legends and FarmVille 2: Country Escape will want to check out the latest offering from King. Build your own island paradise, grow and build goods, and trade them with locals, passing ships, and other players.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 4

When I hear the name “Freddy” as it relates to horror, I no longer think of Freddy Krueger. That’s one hell of a testament to the power of Scott Cawthon’s FNAF franchise. No wonder it’s already on number 4.

Loot & Legends

We fell madly in love with the faux-tabletop RPG gameplay of Card Hunter in browsers back in 2013, and now, finally (and with a new name), that game has come to the iPad. If you prefer your RPGs to have a dungeon master, this is a game you won’t want to miss.

Rockstars of Ooo

There have been a lot of Adventure Time mobile games over the last few years– so many that I’m not even sure if this is the first rhythm game in the franchise. Either way, Finn can really wail, so fans will probably want to get their concert tickets early.

KOI – Journey of Purity

Gaming doesn’t always have to be about breakneck action — it can be about peace and tranquility, too. Koi won “best upcoming game” at the IMGA Awards this year, so it’s no slouch either. Expect to encounter “elements of puzzle solving, growth and collection,” according to the game’s iTunes description.

Sling Kong

Animals don’t really care for danger. That’s why it’s your job to help them avoid it. Pull back on cute critters and send them flying towards the next peg. If you’re lucky, they’ll arrive safely. (SPOILER: you’re not always lucky).

Doom & Destiny Advanced

doom & destiny advanced

Described by its creators as a “sequel, prequel and reboot” of Doom & Destiny, which is probably as delightfully confusing as it sounds. Here’s what you really want to know if you’ve played the first: it’s a new story set in an alternate timeline and dimension. Let the meta-nerdtastic RPG gameplay resume!

Baller Legends

Different challenges and plenty of unlockables should keep players coming back for more, but really, like all basketball shootout games, it’s just about one thing: nothing but net.

80’s Mania Wrestling

Here’s a game you weren’t expecting: a wrestling game not about combat, but about managing your own wrestling federation. Can you Vince McMahon the heck out of the 80’s?

Doodle God: 8-bit Mania

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen anything new from the team behind the Doodle God franchise, and for their latest release, they’re going old school. Pixel art visuals, 8-bit graphics and familiar gameplay rule the roost in Doodle God: 8-bit Mania.

Zoombinis

screen1024x1024[1]

They’re not quite Smurfs, but they’re close! Zoombinis was a puzzle game in the mid 90’s, and it’s been remastered for a modern mobile audience. If you’re a fan of Lemmings, you might be a fan of Zoombinis too.

Jim Squires is the Editor-in-Chief of Gamezebo. Everything you see passes his eyes first, so we like to think of him as "the gatekeeper of cool stuff." He likes good games, great writing, and just can't say no to a hamburger. Also, he is not a bear.
