1910 expansions rides the rails in Ticket to Ride Pocket
By Jim Squires
Leave it to Days of Wonder to address every single one of our complaints about Ticket to Ride Pocket. In our initial review, we lamented the game's total lack of online multiplayer. Then, three weeks ago, they wowed us with an update that did one better - it introduced asynchronous multiplayer (aka push-based play). Now it looks like they're addressing our other big grudge with the iPhone version; it's lack of downloadable content.Splish splash, Om Nom’s taking a bath! Cut the Rope: Experiments “Bath Time” update now live
By Jim Squires
While Cut the Rope is still near and dear to our hearts, last fall's release of Where's My Water? seemingly stole the spotlight from ZeptoLab's adorable Om Nom in the world of pocket puzzlers. Now Om Nom's looking to steal it back with a little water fun of his own with "Bath Time," Cut the Rope: Experiments' latest free update.Hero Academy to add Dwarves next week
Robot Enertainment's Hero Academy has taken off since it launched back in December. By Jim Squires
We've made no secret of our love of board games on mobile devices here at Gamezebo, and Ticket to Ride? It's one of the absolute best. At least, the iPad version is. The iPhone build, better known as Ticket to Ride Pocket, seemed to be missing a little too much from its big brother to be held in quite as high esteem. At least - it did until now. Days of Wonder have just announced that thanks to the game's latest update, Ticket to Ride Pocket finally has online multiplayer - and it's even better than you might expect.Galaxy on Fire 2 Goes Supernova in upcoming expansion
Even though it's been around for more than a year, Fishlabs isn't finished with Galaxy on Fire 2. If you haven't checked out the game, you really should, and if you've already played through the entire game, as well as its expansion Valkyrie, you'll be pleased to hear that the company has announced its second expansion for the game —Supernova — is due out later this year.Minecraft – Pocket Edition to get a massive update February 8th
Minecraft - Pocket Edition was a long time coming to mobile devices. But when it finally arrived, it wasn't really what people wanted, including a general lack of content and being saddled with limitations thanks to said devices' hardware. Despite this, developer Mojang promised lots of stuff with updates and then … nothing. There's been a lot of silence from that end about when folks could expect the patch, but Mojang's finally announced a definite date.Cut the Rope gets stung with Buzz Box update
Chillingo and ZeptoLab have been rolling out updates for Cut the Rope pretty regularly. Just in time for your winter vacation, the companies have announced a massive new addition that includes tons of new levels and creatures who are fundamentally going to change the overall play experience.USM promises more mobile Catan
By Jim Squires
If you're as big a fan of USM's mobile adaptation of Catan as we are, you were no doubt tickled pink when they released the Seafarers expansion as an in-app purchase earlier this year. Likewise, you no doubt did the dance of joy when you read about the upcoming addition of Cities & Knights. Now developer USM is making a few more exciting promises about their digital world of Catan.
