Heart’s Medicine – Season One Review
By David Becker
GameHouse Eindhoven (formerly Zylom) simply knows how to create wonderful and entertaining time management games. This is proven again by Heart's Medicine - Season One, the newest game by the developers of the beloved Emily's series. A charming and unique storyline, top-notch production values, and an overall fantastic gaming experience make this game a must-have for every time management game fan.Heaven’s Diner Preview
By Brock Cooper
When I think of a diner in heaven, I imagine red-faced cherubs serving up a medieval feast, but that's just me. In Heaven's Diner, players get to serve their best food to the angels on high and even the Gods have to come in for a bite every now and then. Heaven's Diner is a fast-paced social time management game (think Diner Dash meets Facebook) but with unique features that extend the game into the real world as well.Haunted Domains Preview
By Erin Bell
The scariest day of the year is right around the corner, and so is Haunted Domains, a wicked new time management game from Alawar Entertainment. As the manager of a haunted hotel, you must tend to the needs of a comical assortment of "creatures of the night." (Think Monster Mash meets Diner Dash.)Dancing Craze Review
By David Becker
Alawar has just released a new installment of the "Craze" franchise, namely Dancing Craze. This time you have to help Maria and her friend to open successful dancing studios, instead of caring for pets, managing fashion boutiques or running beach resorts.Coffee Rush 2 Review
By David Becker
In Coffee Rush 2, the follow-up to 2008's Coffee Rush, you'll once again have save a small town from the pollution of the evil Smokestack Company. By matching ingredients and serving customers delicious coffee, it's your goal to replace one factory after another with charming coffee shops. Apparently no one learned their lesson from the first game and continue to buy coffee from an obviously high-polluting company - but that's another discussion.Cooking Dash 3: Thrills and Spills Review
By David Becker
Flo and Grandma return for another food-serving challenge in Cooking Dash 3: Thrills and Spills. This time you will get a glimpse into their past, as a teenaged Flo helps Mr. Big with the rundown restaurants at his theme park. With just the right amount of new material, this sequel proves to be one of the top time management releases this year thanks to amazing production values, a polished presentation, and last but not least, exquisite gameplay and pace.Paradise Beach 2: Around the World Review
By David Becker
Nothing is more annoying than spending a holiday in which nothing turns out to be as you expected. In Paradise Beach 2 (the follow-up to Paradise Beach) your goal is to create the perfect beach resort for others by proving your knack for micro-management and eye for beauty. A lot of improvements over its predecessor make this game an entertaining experience, in spite of the fact that a few minor flaws still haven't been resolved.Farmers Market Review
By Joel Brodie
It is kind of surprising that no time management game has really tried to capture the theme of farming markets, considering all the farming games that have been released over the last couple of years. Farmers Market by Fugazo aspires to do just that, requiring the player to organize various markets with stands of different vendors and farmers. With its charming graphics, a rather unique gaming experience, and a decent length, Farmers Market is without a doubt one of the best releases of this year in its genre.
