If you're a fan of game shows, then you know that one of the main problems with them is that they're on during the day. For those of us with a nine-to-five, this means that we're often forced to miss episodes of The Price is Right or Family Feud. But fear not! As long as you can sneak in a bit of Facebook time at work there are plenty of ways to enjoy your favorite game shows. Here are six of our favorites.
FreMantleMedia has upped its investment in casual games company Ludia and now owns 80% of the company. FreMantleMediais a leading producer of TV and game shows including leading shows (The Price is Right. Family Feud) and reality shows (the Idol, Got Talent, and X-Factor series). Ludia has developed successful iPhone and Facebook versions of The Price is Right and other games based on FreMantleMediaproperties such as Family Feud (iPhone) and Press Your Luck. So, given their collaboration already this acquisition (when you buy more than 80% of a company, it's officially a buy-out) is not too much of a surprise.
The Price is Right is a social game based on one of the longest running, most loved game shows in television history. Developed by Ludia, you can play your Favorite TPIR games along with friends and other TPIR enthusiasts from all over the World. Gamezebo's The Price is Right strategy guide and walkthrough will provide you with a quick start guide, tips and tricks, hints and cheats on how to win.
Most of the games on Facebook are sims of some sort, but none of them match the sheer accuracy of The Price is Right. Playing this game really is exactly like watching an episode of the show, only you can participate and earn a bit of virtual cash (which amounts to little more than a high score).
Do you like Facebook? How about daytime television? How about ...Plinko? If you answered yet to any of these questions, then come on down! You're the next contestant on The Price is Right!
