The official video trailer has been unveiled for A Game of Thrones - Genesis, which is just one week away from its launch on PC. A Game of Thrones - Genesis is a PC strategy game adaptation of "A Song of Ice and Fire," the series of epic fantasy novels by George R.R. Martin that is also a TV series on HBO.
Like clicking on stuff? Oh goodie - you're going to love this heaping helping of Facebook minutiae. Stardrift Empires is a strategy game of the most boring breed, and unless you have a fetish for watching numbers change, these aren't the droids you're looking for.
Since its announcement back in August, the upcoming SQUIDS has garnered a lot of curiosity from the gaming public. To help sate that curiosity, the developers at The Game Bakers were kind enough to let us go hands on with their upcoming underwater physics adventure and get our sea legs, so to speak.
A few months after the release of the sci-fi trade and combat game Galactic Trader, Australian developer 3 Blokes was acquired by social games publisher RockYou. Now the first fruits of that acquisition are beginning to show, with the announcement of Galactic Allies, a 3D real time strategy game that features player-versus-player combat and a huge galaxy to explore.
As Facebook pushes forward to secure its place on the Internet as one of the most relevant social infrastructures, its gaming arm is, likewise, continuing to grow up. With War Commander, which launches today, players will finally be able to engage in real-time combat, and we've got the trailer to prove it.
Prepare to be wowed, but not all at once. Joyfort has released one of the deepest, most complex games on Facebook, and though the learning curve is steep, the pay-off is grand. The Stratagems is absolutely one of the coolest games I've played on the platform, but it comes with the caveat of requiring patience, dedication, and a big block of your calendar.
This is probably the hardest review I've ever had to write here at Gamezebo, mostly because this game seems to defy so many typical game conventions. A complete understanding of the game would take dozens and dozens of playthroughs, and even then, I still wonder if you'd really have your head wrapped around this game. But if you like something a little more intellectual, something with a fantastic story, and that can be played differently hundreds of times, then this the game you've been waiting for.
