Is Valve making a game console or not?
The answer is not, according to an interview by Kotaku with Doug Lombardi of Valve. Earlier this week, we reported the rumor that Valve which runs Steam, among the largest digital distribution platforms for games on the PC and Mac, was working on the "Steam Box."Valve is working with different types of hardware as cited in the original speculative article by The Verve. But, it's to test its upcoming feature, Steam Big Picture Mode UI, not to build a console to compete with Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo.
