Hit mobile game Squids gets the TV treatment
Frima Studios and Moonscoop have announced a new partnership today, which will result in an animated children's TV series based on the popular Squids mobile franchise. In the press release, Frima Studios and Moonscoop reveal "The show will follow the exploits of four springy octopus adventurers as they travel between themed underwater kingdoms to hold the evil Baron and his infection at bay!" If I didn't know any better, I'd say that sounded like the synopsis of a hit mobile game, so this should definitely be an interesting endeavor!

SQUIDS return in their very own comic book
One thing that stood out about SQUIDS Wild West (and its predecessor SQUIDS) was its characters. They felt like they were pulled straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon. Not only did each character have a distinct look and personality, the game's story was solid too -- humorous, well-paced and dramatic, without taking itself too seriously.

When you think of squids, you probably think about slimy sea creatures or tasty calamari or —if you're a fan of the classics— that monster that attacked the Nautilus in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Until now, our tentacled friends aren't exactly known for being cute and cuddly. That's all about to change, though, thanks to Squids, the first game from The Game Bakers. And with how great this game is, it looks like squids are about to get a massive public image adjustment for the better.
