Owlbear Garden Review
By Leif Johnson
Hidden deep within the rarely explored reaches of the Internet, a race composed of half-owl, half-bear humanoids tend their gardens under the cover of night. Such a scenario might be the stuff of nightmares in less family oriented games, but GCrest has managed to use it to create a promising social game mixing elements of farming, decoration, and mini-games. The only problem is that, for all of its cuteness, Owlbear Garden never distinguishes itself enough to warrant packing up and moving over from your favorite existing farming titles. While customization and social junkies might find something to love here, Owlbear Garden quickly sags under the weight of familiarity.Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Game Review
Many of the most popular games on Facebook are business management titles, and of those one of the most popular features is decoration. And it's a good thing, because that's the focus of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. What makes the game different, however, is that decoration is more than just a superfluous, secondary element to the game, but the entire core mechanic. As such, you must attempt redecorate an entire home for a deserving set of families.Vegas Life Review
From sparkling city lights to the clatter of winning slot machines, Las Vegas is one of the most memorable cities in the world. It also makes for a great setting for just about any game. Such is the setting of a new iOS title from Nubee, Vegas Life. A social business simulation game, the core of the app is relatively standard, but it attempts to make itself stand out with some Vegas flair and several newer, though simple, mechanics.Tower Town Review

By David Becker
Awem Studio is back with The Island: Castaway 2, although the title is only half appropriate for this sequel. In contrast to the first part of this adventure/simulation-series you are now playing as a young member of a native tribe on the already familiar island. The player takes control of Yati, an orphan who has been brought up by the whole tribe. Yati has lived a sheltered life until things begin to change when strangers enter the small village. Haunted by hallucinations, Yati has to decide what to make of his life.
