Monopoly Hotels Preview
By Jim Squires
From Hotel City to Tap Pet Hotel, managing a bustling accommodations business has been a big hit with freemium audiences in the last few years. But if you're going to go into the hotels business, wouldn't you want to consult the very best? Rich Uncle Pennybags, aka "Mr. Monopoly," has been building hotels on Boardwalk since 1935!Social Girl Review
Crowdstar has released another iOS title for female gamers, Social Girl. The sterling successor to the highly popular application Top Girl, this new simulation plants players into an almost virtual high school-type of environment. From managing relationships to working their way into cliques, it is a simplistic game of popularity, fashion, and dating.Atlantis Fantasy Review
A new city-builder from the folks over at Kobojo has hit Facebook and this time it is taking players deep beneath the ocean waves. Atlantis Fantasy is the name, and believe it or not it actually feels very different from the rest of its ilk. Not only does it have a unique visual style, but it actually incorporates resource management mechanics that feel significant. Granted, it still comes with many of the features of its predecessors, but in a rare occasion, does not feel like a carbon copy.Epic Astro Story Review
Oh, my poor editor here at Gamezebo must have been pulling his hair out waiting for this review. I missed my deadline by a good 12 hours, at least. The problem was that I couldn't stop playing the game long enough to take the time to write these words. The only reason I'm writing them right now is because I purposefully left my phone at home when I went out to get breakfast, just to force myself to ignore the temptation long enough to bang out the words necessary to tell you that Epic Astro Story is awesome.Venture Towns Review
By Art Green
Some of my fondest gaming memories start with the Super Nintendo and SimCity. Building up cities and watching them grow and flourish was a fascinating process. With Kairosoft's Venture Towns, you won't be getting the same scale of building your own virtual world, but what you will get is the same addictive gameplay that has hooked you on other city-building games in the past. The Sims FreePlay Walkthrough
The Sims FreePlay is a life simulation game from Electronic Arts for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. The Sims have returned to the App Store, and you have to make sure they're on the right path to having a successful life. Having control over lives may not be the easiest task, but with Gamezebo's quick start guide, you'll have all the tips, tricks and walkthroughs necessary to stay on top of things.Lagoonia Review
It's a situation we've all thought about at one point. What would it be like to be trapped on a deserted island? The strangely titled Lagoonia lets you experience this firsthand as the lone survivor of a plane crash. Using the resources on hand you'll have to eek out a life, while exploring the island to learn that there may be a bit more there than just trees and sand. The quality of gameplay doesn't quite match the quality of the concept, but Lagoonia still provides a largely enjoyable experience for those who've wondered what it would be like to be a character on Lost. Without the smoke monsters, of course. The Sims FreePlay Review
By Jim Squires
Somewhere between the The Sims and The Sims Online, way back at the turn of the century, Maxis announced a little game called SimsVille. It was, at the time, to be the next iteration of The Sims franchise and would let players control a multitude of families that all made up a single neighbourhood. The game was scrapped, and while most of its elements turned up in either The Sims 2 or SimCity 4, nothing ever really "felt" like what I expected SimsVille to feel like. Not until now.
