Empire Review
By Leif Johnson
The closest I've ever come to knowing what it's like to grow up in the projects is driving by Cabrini-Green on my way to work in Chicago, so I'm not even going to pretend that I'm qualified to discuss the quality of the story behind Empire, a new social game by Jay-Z. But apparently it's the real deal, and the game's story recalls his rise from Brooklyn's Marcy Projects to a nine-figure businessman, much like his similarly titled hit "Empire State of Mind" in 2009. I do like to think that I know my games, however, and I'm hesitant to say that this outing will be anywhere near as successful.Scarface Review
By Tony Capri
When I heard Scarface was coming to iOS, I assumed the licensees were inspired by the success Rockstar has seen bringing over both Grand Theft Auto III and Max Payne to the platform. Unfortunately, this isn't a port of Radical Entertainment's The World is Yours; rather, it's a watered-down version of Mafia Wars 2 with a Scarface skin. The game offers cheap trappings galore, but this simply isn't an empire worth killing your friends over.Pole Position 2012 Review
By Mike Rose
Formula 1 racing management game. The chances are that those words mashed together aren't too exciting for the majority of Gamezebo readers, although if you've clicked through to this review, then perhaps you are indeed looking for a spot of high-speed simulation. Pole Position 2012 definitely has a lot of expertise under its bonnet, with specs and stats scattered all over the place.Lil’ Kingdom Walkthrough
Lil' Kingdom is a tower building simulation game from Glu Games. Taken with the task of building a dungeon, you must provide a way of life underground. While building new floors in a dungeon seems like it would be a simple goal, things can get hairy if you're unsure about what to do. Luckily, Gamezebo's quick start guide has all of the tips, tricks and walkthroughs you need to keep ahead of the game.Lil’ Kingdom Review
By Jim Squires
"What if you took Tiny Tower, but instead of building up, you dug down?" In a nutshell, this simple premise seems to be the driving force behind Lil' Kingdom. Yet what it lacks in originality, it makes up for in polish and charm.Deer Hunter Reloaded Review
By Tony Capri
Considering its proliferation of stationary shooters, it's no great leap for Glu to enter the hunting arena. iOS makes a great platform for the genre, and with Deer Hunter Reloaded the publisher makes a suitable marriage between social-gaming conventions and a trip to the virtual outback.Mall Stars Preview
By Nadia Oxford
In Mall Stars for iOS, you're put in charge of your very own shopping center. What will you build? How will you attract customers in this lean age of digital shopping? If the answer is not "make every single store a Cinnabon," then you need to rethink your priorities. The Blockheads Preview
Minecraft: Pocket Edition carries the same charm and universe of Mojang's flagship title, but it's hard to deny that it's a far cry from the complete PC title right now. For players seeking a Minecraft-like experience that feels like it was genuinely build from the ground-up for iOS devices, Majic Jungle's David Frampton is working hard to make your dreams come true. Meet The Blockheads.
