Saturn Defense Review
In the future, all of Earth's resources have been depleted, forcing mankind into space to search for alternative energy solutions. The rings and moons of Saturn, being rich deposits for the elements and minerals we need to fuel our never-ending obsession with progress and ease-of-life, become a sort of large-scale energy mine for our struggling race; but all is not well. Hostile aliens have taken notice and will stop at nothing to reclaim their extra-terrestrial territory. Through strategy, patience, and high-tech weaponry, we must fight back to ensure the future stability of our once proud race.
Pocket League Story 2 Review
I should be absolutely sick of Kairosoft games. After recent releases Pocket Stables and Dream House Days, along with a few years of other titles, the Japanese developer should have been deemed a one trick pony. Fortunately, they do their one trick so well that any flaws and lack of originality are overshadowed by charm and fun. Pocket League Story 2 is no exception.

But, perhaps bored with the lack of challenge resulting from their mastery, they've decided to branch out into the realm of primary school children.

I have a confession to make: I've never flown on an airplane before. I'm not really sure why, either. I guess I just never really had anywhere too far off that I needed to be. But now I'm finally starting to see just how cool flying and airlines really are: and it's all thanks to an upcoming airport simulation game by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines called Aviation Empire.
Dream House Days Review
After numerous ventures into the mobile gaming space like Game Dev Story and the recent Pocket Stables, developer Kairosoft has released Dream House Days, their first attempt at a free-to-play title. It's an effort that feels slightly outside the Kairosoft norm, featuring ads and in-app purchases. However, the final result is a worthy addition to the Kairosoft family, though it lacks some of the detail that made its predecessors truly special.
Pocket Stables Review
In Kairosoft's newest title, you can experience horses in all their glory. You'll build a ranch, raise horses, and enter races, with the goal of raising a Triple Crown champion. Of course, raising a Triple Crown champion is difficult, as there's been no American Triple Crown winner in over 35 years! Pocket Stables will show you that winning one race is hard enough, but winning the three biggest races will require patience, planning, and some luck. Good thing it's a whole lot of fun.
Hope: The Other Side of Adventure Review
Have you ever wondered what Princess Zelda was going through while she desperately waited for Link to come to her rescue? Maybe you have, and maybe you haven't, but I'd like to believe that if handled properly, her story could make for an interesting twist on the classic tale of the hero's journey. Unfortunately, Hope: The Other Side of Adventure takes what could have made for a groundbreaking and empowering experience, and utterly destroys it by substituting community theater-level soliloquy and angst for compelling gameplay.
Reus Review
In the beginning, there was a vast wasteland of interactive nothingness. And so Man created the video game. Man then got tired of playing space shooters and sword-wielding heroes, so he created the god game. One in-game, all-powerful planet spirit got tired of running everything, so he created the Reus: the eponymous Giant designed to do the bidding of the planet through manual labor and you, the player whose not-so-distant ancestor invented the video game.
