    Sandlot Games is gearing up to launch The Legend of Crystal Valley, a new point-and-click adventure developed by Cateia Games, and gave us a sneak peek.When Eve receives a mysterious and disturbing letter from her long-estranged father, who for years has lived an increasingly secluded life, she travels to the family estate in France in order to find him. After arriving, she discovers that her father has disappeared. Now, in order to find him, Eve must explore Crystal Valley, an alternate fantasy world inhabited by strange creatures, and piece together the clues that reveal her family's true identity.

When I first started playing Heartwild Solitaire, I was very surprised to see the direction the story was taking.     Ballhalla is absorbing. A unique twist on action-puzzlers, this ball-based game is all about "sucking up" surrounding energy balls to create heavier, more powerful spheres, while keeping their container balanced. The heavier the balls become, the more the "bucket" wants to tip to one side or the other. Append a time element and it adds up to one engrossing, frantically-paced, ball-loony experience.

    My thoughts about Pirate Island are at odds with one another, like two buccaneers fighting over buried riches. On one hand, the world didn't need another match-three sequel, let alone one that was all but identical to its predecessor, Treasure Island. Yet after burning through 61 stages in two days, I want more. How do I review a game that offers nothing new but still grabs me in a way few releases do?
