Angry Birds Toons is set to debut on March 16 and 17
Hallelujah, it's rainin' birds. Earlier today, Rovio announced that its long-awaited Angry Birds Toons will sail into our lives on March 16 and 17. Rovio plans to release 52 episodes per year, and the basic premise around most of the shorts appears to revolve around (sit down for this one) the Pigs' attempts to steal the Birds' eggs.
More levels coming soon to Angry Birds Star Wars
Hot off the heels of announcing new content for Bad Piggies, Rovio has gone and revealed that new levels are coming soon to Angry Birds Star Wars. Well actually, "revealed" may be too strong a word. They've acknowledged that the new levels are coming, but didn't offer up too many details beyond that.

Despite lacking any sort of appendages, the green pigs of the Angry Birds universe sure are hyperactive. They covered a tremendous amount of ground in their own game Bad Piggies, and it sounds like they've still yet to tucker out: Rovio has revealed via Twitter that more content is coming soon to the game in the form of "Road Hogs." What is Road Hogs, you ask? It appears to be a new mode of some sort, although that's all we know at the moment.
Angry Birds Rio currently free (as a bird)
It's not often you see Rovio games being offered at a discount, but Angry Birds Rio is currently a rare (and pleasant) exception to the rule. Both the iPhone and iPad versions are available for the low cost of nothing, courtesy of Apple's "App of the Week" promotion.
Angry Birds Space receives new content update
Regardless of how you feel about the Angry Birds franchise, there's no question that Rovio does right by the fans. There's an endless supply of merchandise in pretty much every store under the sun, and the games receive content updates on a consistent basis. In fact, Rovio has just pushed live an all new pack of levels for Angry Birds Space, and even gone to the trouble of writing up a whole new set of bird and pig puns for it. Now that's dedication.
Angry Birds Seasons updates with annual Christmas content
I know, I know. A Christmas update to Angry Birds Seasons was pretty much inevitable. But don't let that put a damper on your excitement! Players can expect 25 new levels throughout the month—one a day until we finally reach Christmas. As developer Rovio puts it in the update in the App Store description, the birds have found themselves in a "Winter Wonderham." Having written an amount of bad puns that likely nears the quadruple digits, I feel qualified to say that's one of the best-worst ones you'll ever see.
