Rovio announce Angry Birds Go! release date and debut first gameplay footage
By Joe Jasko
The kart-racing spin-off game Angry Birds Go! has been on our radar for quite some time now, even though we've still had no idea what the game would actually look like, or what Rovio's take on karting gameplay would really entail. Well this morning all of our burning questions have finally been answered, as Rovio unveiled the very first look at Angry Birds Go! in action: and it looks absolutely incredible. For starters, gone are the cute and adorable 2D cartoon graphics that have become so synonymous with a main entry Angry Birds game today: replaced with full-fledged 3D visuals, which give off the look and gleam of karting classics like Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing. The birds themselves have never looked so good in 3D, and everything from the customizable karts themselves, the cheery environments, and the wacky arsenal of power-ups and weapons have made this one race straight to the top of our "Most Wanted" list. But don't just take my word for it! You can take a gander at all of the Angry Birds karting goodness right above in the debut gameplay trailer. The free-to-play Angry Birds Go! will be released onto the App Store on December 11, and a quick logo at the end of the trailer lets us know that the TelePods first seen in Angry Birds Star Wars II will be making a return here in some capacity as well.5 Angry Birds movie-crossover games we’d like to see

Since the highly anticipated Angry Birds Star Wars II from Rovio was finally released earlier this week, all of us here at Gamezebo have been plenty busy flinging our Rebel Birds at the legions of evil Imperial Piggies as we keep making our push towards the ominous Pig Star. But just because we've been having a blast from here to the stars, that doesn't mean we also haven't been racking our brains to think of some other beloved movie franchises that might make an awesome fit for the Angry Birds treatment! So get ready to see your favorite irritated avians adopting some new fan-favorite roles, from wizards, to superheroes, to toys in a toy box: let's just hope the kind folks at Rovio will be listening! And as much as I love a good horror movie every now and then, I ultimately refrained from including my all-time favorite Saw series on the list, because, well, I don't think anyone would really want to see that. But keep scrolling down to see all of the fan-favorite movie franchises that did make our cut, and be sure to let us know where you'd like to see the Angry Birds series fly off to next down in the replies!"Rovio reveals Angry Birds Go! is a kart racer

Remember at the beginning of the summer when we told you that Rovio was working on a brand new game called Angry Birds Go!? Well the Angry Birds developer is still keeping pretty tight-lipped on most of the details about this one, although they did reveal one important piece of new information today: Angry Birds Go will be a kart racing game!Rovio teases new Angry Birds Star Wars game
By Joe Jasko
Rovio is teasing another new Angry Birds game based on the Star Wars universe today on their company blog. I'm not as current with my Star Wars history as I should be, but word on the street is that the new game might be based on the original Star Wars prequel trilogy, as alluded to in the first released concept art of the upcoming game.Ready, set… Angry Birds Go!

Don't you love it when we have almost zero information about a game to share? Me neither. But I'm afraid Rovio is a company that likes to play their cards close to their chest.Rovio partners with Sony Pictures Entertainment for Angry Birds movie

We've been hearing a lot of rumbling (or squawking) around these parts lately about the hotly anticipated Angry Birds animated movie that Rovio has wanted to make. We already knew that a number of major studios were vying for the rights to purchase the film, but now we have official confirmation this week that Sony Pictures Entertainment has been the early bird to get the multi-million dollar worm.Rovio introduces cloud saves with Rovio Accounts

The fact that you can play Angry Birds on basically every device under the sun is pretty cool. What's less cool, however, is that your progress isn't saved between devices. With the newly launched Rovio Accounts, that's something Rovio is hoping to change.Rovio to release licensed game based on The Croods
By Dant Rambo
Is it just us or does Rovio always have a surprise or two up their sleeve? Earlier in the week it was the release date for Angry Birds Toons, and this time around it's the reveal of The Croods, an upcoming game based on the animated film of the same name. Surprisingly, it won't be about flinging birds!
