Humor is always a tricky thing to work into games but I think a lot of that is because people who aren't funny on their own try to write jokes. If you're a fan of Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter series, chances are you're in for a big surprise. The developers haven't completely tossed away the series' hack-n-slash formula, but the meat of the experience has seen some significant changes in Dungeon Hunter 3.
The Zenonia games remind me a bit of the Resident Evil films: The newer titles seem to be working really hard to make up for the problems of their predecessors. There have many games that have tried to emulate Nintendo's success with the Pokemon series, but few have done it as well as Miscrits of Volcano Island. It's the rare social game that actually feels epic. The world is huge and varied, and exploration is very satisfying. Any game with the word "farm" in the title is one that certainly has an uphill battle to fight, but Farm Kingdom does a fairly decent of setting itself apart. Your typical farming simulation game, it contains many of the nuances of the genre but builds on them with more involved mechanics, crafting, and a generally more expansive virtual space from which to work within.
