Realm of the Mad God is an online co-op fantasy MMO shooter from Wild Shadow Studios. Taking on the enemies that await you in this crazy game can be one difficult task, but using Gamezebo's quick start guide, you'll be ahead of the game and ready to conquer this online world.
Superheroes and video games seem like they should be a sure fire combination, but over the years the pairing has resulted in a spotty track record at best. That's why, when Disney announced that Playdom was working on a new Facebook game based on the Marvel Universe, we approached the idea with idea with reserved skepticism. The action-packed superhero genre? On Facebook? How on earth could they make a game like that? As it turns out, the answer is "incredibly well."
The text-based social RPG is old. That isn't to say the genre doesn't have merit or a fan base, but in a time when mobile games are becoming increasingly more creative, titles like iMob 2 just don't stand out. Not that the latest creation from Addmired is bad; it simply doesn't offer anything to entice newcomers to the genre. Still, it's solid from a play perspective, with only a few minor nuances, such as some balancing issues.
Realm of the Mad God is a prime example of the slow rise to power certain indie game releases can experience. Originally released as a public open beta way back at the start of 2010, the game's world, visuals and features have slowly been built up brick by brick based on player feedback, before the game was eventually fully released last year.
Do you love social play in the medieval world, but wish you could take it on the go? Then you're in luck. Kabam is bringing the fun and strategy of the original Facebook Kingdoms of Camelot to iOS very soon with Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North.
When we work through a role-playing game, one of the questions we ask ourselves the most (aside from "How do monsters made of stone make babies?") is, "Where is this weapon shop getting all these crazy swords from? Who makes these things?"
Everyone remembers Camelot, home to King Arthur and his court. Valiant knights, beautiful women, and all the chivalry any one person can stomach. Camelot is such a tired setting for a videogame, though. That's where Battleloot Adventure comes in. The setting is Kameloot, a wealthy kingdom that faces threats from monsters, mercenaries and taxes. As the player enters the kingdom he or she must fight, loot, and laugh his or her way through the story.
Are you sick and tired of your usual routine? Does the corporate grind have you down? Then might I suggest a vacation to the world of Driftmoon, the new indie RPG from Instant Kingdom that looks like it's going to be refreshingly different from your run of the mill PC games.
