Huebrix Review
Gloating. Hubris. Pride. It goes by many names, but proves equally annoying in the wrong hands. And nothing spurs it on like proficiency at video games. The smug smiles watching others struggle. The "humble brags" casually mentioning achievements and records. Well if you happen to be a brain teaser fan that knows - or worse, is - a particularly prideful puzzle gamer, I'm happy to tell you that there's an app for that: its name is Huebrix.
Oh Hi! Octopi! Review
The fine folks at kode80 know a thing or two about scratching the nostalgia itch; their earlier Gameboy-inspired release 1-bit Ninja more than proved that. Now the developer is back with a brand new iOS title, and while it might look like the darling love child of Bubble Bobble and Donkey Kong, Oh Hi! Octopi! plays unlike anything we've ever seen before.

As someone who likes to game all the things, I generally dislike it when a gem slips through my fingers. So imagine my dismay when I realized today that there is a colorful, frenetic flash arcade puzzler called Super Puzzle Platformer that I haven't even heard of. While I have you in my imagination, though, you may as well picture my delight in the knowledge that it's being re-released better than ever, as Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe.
Oh Hi! Octopi! Preview
Fun fact: Contrary to what Aristotle said in the past, the octopus is a pretty intelligent creature. Not as intelligent as us humans, but intelligent all the same. Unless, of course, we're talking about the ones in Oh Hi! Octopi!, the upcoming game from 1-bit Ninja developer kode80. Blast-A-Way Review
Blast-A-Way is a devious game, and that's something every player must come to terms with. If it wasn't, it wouldn't bombard you with colorful obstacles and force you to rescue the poor, innocent "Boxies" that inhabit its world. But you can't be too mad at it, really. The game only does these things because it loves you, and wants you to have fun. Isn't that sweet?
