Dragon Hatchery Review
By Jim Squires
Baby dragons aren't usually the sort of thing you want to mess around with. They're scaly, bad tempered, and breathe fire when you burp them. And yet, caring for baby dragons can be just as challenging and rewarding as caring for real babies. That's why it's so important that you heed our call to action, taking your rightful place as the nanny in a dragon nursery! Just like the babies in Dragon Hatchery, this offbeat hybrid match-3/time management game is too endearing to ignore.Lucidity Review

Sofi is a big dreamer. A little girl staying at her Nana's house, she loves to play pretend and explore her imagination. But her waking world of wonders is nothing compared to the adventures she has in her dreams! Join the team behind this year's critically-acclaimed Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition as they attempt to guide a little girl through her dreams in the puzzle platformer Lucidity.Fishdom: Spooky Splash Review
The first Fishdom game made a splash with challenging match-3 gameplay and fishtank decorating, while the sequel, Fishdom H2O, switched over to hidden object gameplay. Both games were well-received by players, but match-3 fans will be happy to know that Fishdom: Spooky Splash has gone back to its match-3 roots. Like the first Fishdom, Spooky Splash has you swapping tiles and earning cash to decorate Halloween-themed fish tanks.Fishdom: Spooky Splash Preview

Playrix Entertainment gave us a heads-up that the third game in the Fishdom series is almost ready to launch. You're no doubt wondering whether Fishdom: Spooky Splash will be a match-3 puzzle game like the original Fishdom, or another hidden object game like Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey. Well, match-3 fans, it's your lucky day!Lucidity Preview

LucasArts has announced a new puzzle platform game called Lucidity, which is set for release as a PC download and via Xbox LIVE Arcade on October 7. As StarWars.com reports, Lucidity takes place in a surreal dreamworld inspired by the imagination of a little girl named Sofi. As Sofi drifts through the dreamworld, players must keep her safe and deliver her to the end of the level. Players don't actually control Sofi herself, who moves forward automatically through the level, but must instead place randomly generated objects like stairs, slingshots and platforms to create a safe path for Sofi to follow.BumbleTales Review
If match-three games suffer from a single flaw, it's that most of them don't give you a reason for your efforts beyond achieving a higher score. BumbleTales takes a slightly different approach: Instead of trying to rise to the top of a leader board, you're helping restore a community.Brainiversity 2 Review
By David Stone
Like the second volume of a textbook, 3 Blokes Studios has created another series of gray-matter exercises with Brainiversity 2. They've learned a little bit from their first outing, and added some new games to the routine. Brain training games really exploded when Nintendo released Brain Age for the Nintendo DS. It was a series of games that purportedly made your brain stronger by "exercising" different parts through targeted activities. Since then, there have been many different brain-training games from different studios. The first Brainiversity was a decent collection of games that had all the trimmings of a brain training game: a cute mascot, trackable progress and a nice selection of 16 games. The Village Mage – Spellbinder Review
So much for modern medicine. The Village Mage - Spellbinder is a multitasking match-3 and time management hybrid that has you whipping up magic potions to cure everyone in the village. With all the talk about health care reform, it must be nice to live in a world where everything can be cured with dandelions and mushrooms! The story is barely there, but sets up the theme. Your receive your alchemists degree, and hope to open up your own alchemists' s academy someday, so you head home and quickly convert your parent's house into a shop. Now you're all ready to play.
