Motleys Review
By Jon Mundy
While we're not exactly short of bubble popping Bust-a-Move clones on iPhone, Motleys attempts to mix things up by bringing a greater sense of physicality to the match-three table. Unfortunately, it needs serious fleshing out before it can be considered a real contender in the genre.Petrix Review
It's amazing in this day and age that someone could find a new way to twist the classic Tetris falling block gameplay. To its credit, Petrix does just that. While the normal conventions of filling up a line to remove it from play hold true, that's no longer truly the task at hand. Nope, this time we're building a path for puppies!Aqueduct Review
By David Stone
Ever think to yourself "why didn't I think of this?" There will certainly be a number of developers saying this after taking a look at Aqueduct, a new slider/pipe puzzle hybrid for the iPhone. Though certainly not perfect, it shows that a great idea, solidly implemented, can be a great experience.LandFormer Review
The premise of Landformer is incredibly basic. Use a set of limited tools to either lower or raise the landscape to get all the land back to a flat position. It reminded me of the God game Populous or SimCity's terraforming aspects. While in that game flattening the land was just the beginning (since you then needed to build on it), here making the land flat is its own reward... and the only goal you'll be chasing.Build ‘n Bash Review
During your childhood years, you likely played with some form of construction toys like Lincoln Logs or Tinker Toys, erecting buildings that you bragged about, admired, and eventually destroyed like Godzilla on a bender. Build 'n Bash, a "3D Action Puzzler" developed by Skapp Enterprises, lets iPhone players recapture such nostalgic moments, but it throws in a bonus: instead of destroying your own buildings, you need to bust up those made by other players.Plock Review
By Marni McNiff
Like the movie starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, Plock by MetroGames is all about speed. In this game of brightly colored blocks, your goal is to click on groups of two or more adjacent blocks of the same color as fast as you can. It's a similar concept to games like Breaking Bricks and Cube Crash, but Plock adds bombs and multiplier blocks into the mix, offering chances to score mad points.Voodoo Dice Review
It's a premise we've all seen many times before: you control a block, moving one space at a time, and you'll have to make your way from one end of a level to the exit on the other side. From iPhone games like Edge to PC puzzlers like Puzzle Dimension, it's well tread territory. But in spite of this, Voodoo Dice manages to add enough new to the formula to make it worth playing, though at times it can be a little too frustrating for its own good.Puzzle Dimension Review
By Keith Andrew
Games are a funny business. Pop down your local zoo and attempt to cram a load of monkeys in a series of perspex balls, and chances are you're going to raise more than a few eyebrows. Make such activities the subject of a game, however, and all of a sudden you've got a best-seller on your hands. The success of the aforementioned Super Monkey Ball has naturally lead to a number of clones, but Puzzle Dimension - despite obvious similarities - isn't one of them.
