Shibuya Review
By Keith Andrew
It's not hard to imagine that those behind Shibuya probably thrive on a sense of order. A trip around their respective abodes would no doubt uncover neatly stacked book shelves, DVDs all stood up in alphabetical order, and dirty dishes washed, dried and put back in their cupboards within seconds. In short, Shibuya is an OCD sufferer's paradise, effectively playing the role of that pile of rubbish that you never quite finish cleaning.Bubble Town: Party Planet Review
Bubble Town is hardly the cozy village that it used to be. After a wise redesign and several incarnations on multiple platforms ranging from PC to the iPhone and Facebook, Bubble Town's comical little Borbs have their sights on global domination of a sort, and they're calling it a Party Planet. Bubble Town: Party Planet's visuals and gameplay differ very little from I-Play's standard popular homage to bubble poppers such as Snood and Bust-A-Move, opting for a greater focus on social interaction and additional levels. The problem, sadly, is getting to them.Laserbrain Review
By Jon Mundy
Contrary to the common (and really quite reasonable) assumption that computer circuits are logical, orderly constructs, Laserbrain takes the Tron-like view that there's a war going on in our laptops and servers. Here, you play the part of a fledgling program sent out to assassinate a group of rogue 'cores,' who stand accused of being infected by independent thinking.Fishdom: Seasons Under the Sea Review
By Mike Rose
Since the first Fishdom game was released just over two years ago, the series hasn't exactly changed all that much. The general premise has stayed the same - play match-3 puzzles to unlock items for your fish tank - but the games are so superbly executed that there is little room for complaint from us.Coffee Rush 2 Review
By David Becker
In Coffee Rush 2, the follow-up to 2008's Coffee Rush, you'll once again have save a small town from the pollution of the evil Smokestack Company. By matching ingredients and serving customers delicious coffee, it's your goal to replace one factory after another with charming coffee shops. Apparently no one learned their lesson from the first game and continue to buy coffee from an obviously high-polluting company - but that's another discussion.Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine Review
For a world famous doctor with an army of gigantic evil robots, Dr. Robotnik sure is cranky. That's why in Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, the villain best known as Sonic the Hedgehog's arch-nemesis decides to kidnap a whole bunch of beans to turn them into evil little robots. Or something like that. Really, the goofy story is just an excuse for some addictive puzzle action. But while the main puzzle mechanic is fun, the difficulty level gets incredibly high very early on and the game also suffers from a frustratingly archaic password save system.Cut The Rope Review
By Keith Andrew
Who knew flinging birds at a pack of pigs would be so much fun? Or that jumping up a series of never-ending platforms with no real rhyme or reason would keep you entertained for hours? In its short life, iPhone has been home to scores of such titles, simple actions transformed into so called killer-apps with notable frequency. Five minutes into Cut the Rope, and it's clear the format has another such hit on its hands.Jewel Quest: The Sleepless Star Review
By Erin Bell
If it's pure match-3 gameplay you're after - no hidden object interludes or mini-games, and plenty of challenge - then Jewel Quest: The Sleepless Star is a sure bet. Like all Jewel Quest games before it, the fifth game in this gem-swapping series is extremely challenging and at times frustrating, but that makes it all the more satisfying when you finally do clear a board or get that elusive 5-star ranking.
