Puzzle Saga Review
By Alicia Ashby
Puzzle Saga is a concept that seems inescapably bound by success: a Facebook game that merges match-3 gameplay with RPG fantasy battles in the vein of the multiplatform casual hit Puzzle Quest. While Puzzle Saga is quite good by Facebook standards, it's no Puzzle Quest. The puzzle battles are real-time instead of turn-based and there's no real level of customization. The emphasis is on making matches as quickly as possible rather than necessarily making the best matches.Dress-Up Pups Review
By Brandy Shaul
Dress-Up Pups is a colorful, relaxing match-3 title from Anawiki and RetroStyle Games that allows you to spend as much or as little time as you'd like making clothing for dogs. There is plenty of gameplay here, for those looking to spend a few hours of their lives playing, but the gameplay itself is pretty standard match-3 fare.Bejeweled 3 Review
By Erin Bell
I'll never forget being at a certain game developers' conference several years ago and hearing one budding game designer stand up and ask the panel why anyone would ever want to buy more than one match-3 game. "Aren't they all the same?" was the question he was asking. The answer is, of course, "no, far from it," but here at Gamezebo we knew that already. Case in point is Bejeweled 3. After almost 10 years of Bejeweled, the latest title in the franchise still manages to give us new modes and variations to enjoy. Add to that crisp new high-res graphics and you have a sure fire winner for Bejeweled fanatics.Farmscapes Review
By Chad Sapieha
Farmscapes, the latest effort from Russian game maker Playrix (Gardenscapes, Royal Envoy), tells the story of a teenaged kid who is sent to his grandfather's farm to make sure he doesn't waste his summer vacation inside playing video games. The irony of it all is that once you pick up this devilishly habit-forming match-three puzzler, you're likely to do just that: Spend plenty of prime tobogganing time in front of your computer.Cradle of Rome 2 Review
Cradle of Rome 2 is the sequel to the immensely popular and addictive Cradle of Rome match-3 game. Fans of the series will be happy to know that now much has changed between the two games, so if you were looking for some new Cradle to Rome action look no further. There's a downside to this however, the game is so similar you may wonder what's been changed at all.Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle Review
Quaint English villages are well known for their lovely gardens, never ending supplies of tea, eccentric residents, and, of course, high crime rates. At least that's the case with Little Riddle. In Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mystery of Little Riddle you play as a detective investigating a string of mysterious crimes that take place in the village. It's a beautiful game with challenging puzzles, a well written story, and a wonderful sense of charm. It makes for a great multi-player experience, though sadly playing it by yourself can feel a bit empty.Conveyor Chaos Review
By Bryan Lufkin
Some of the most beloved video games are the ones with timeless gameplay that's addictive, and easy to figure out. Mainstays like Minesweeper or Tetris are great examples, and have really provided the paradigm for similar titles that have followed. Conveyor Chaos is one of those games that are smart enough to take cues from the classics.Season Match: Curse of the Witch Crow Review
I'm still amazed that after all these years I can still be so addicted to match-3 games. I mean, it's such a simple concept you think it would've run its course long long ago. Yet, here I am... spending more than a few hours matching blocks in Season Match: Curse of the Witch Crow, just as addicted to it now as I've ever been. If you're a fellow match-3 fan, read on because I think you'll like what you hear.
