As far as names go, Bunny Shooter doesn't exactly inspire confidence. It's the kind of name that the average person would simply skim over while browsing simply because it's so generic, so boring. To skim over this particular release, however, would be a dire shame on your part.
With Bejeweled Blitz, Popcap essentially created a brand new style of arcade game that was perfectly suited to social gaming. And of course the formula has since been copied many times. Jungle Jewels Flash is a game that takes the same one-minute bursts of match-3 gameplay that made Bejeweled Blitz such a hit, and tweaks it slightly with a different visual theme and a slightly more intuitive control scheme. It's fun, of course, but there's not really enough here to lure you away from Popcap's well-established game.
If only the whole world could have been formed from Bob Ross' imagination. We'd have happy little trees here and burnt sienna-colored everything as far as the eye can see. While that remains little more than a nice fantasy, there seems to be something of that spirit in the Happy Hills. And while they might not look like something from the legendary public-broadcasting artist, this colorful puzzle game would definitely please his sensibilities.
When it comes to driving, we're taught that certain rules have to be obeyed. We don't speed around as fast as we can. We don't crash into other cars and buildings. We're taught to drive as safely as possible. However, as Push-Cars on the Mac proves, it's a lot more fun to be as reckless as possible.
When Burn the Rope hit iOS last year, we were instantly bit by the fire bug. Then when the sequel was announced last week? We were simply aflame with delight! Of course, the lack of video during the announcement extinguished our blaze a little. Screenshots of fire look great and all, but what we really want to see is burning in action! It looks like the team at Big Blue Bubble felt the same way, as they've just unveiled the following trailer.

If you've never had the opportunity to hurl a small, adorable animal through the air, you're clearly missing out. No, seriously. It's super cathartic, and the animals themselves love it. At least that's what Bounce the Bunny has taught me, and I have yet to receive a lesson from video games that hasn't turned out to be true.
In Snoops you get to be a private eye, searching for clues in an attempt to nail the bad guy. It's a game that takes a pretty standard social game formula -- searching a grid-like environment, one square at a time -- and attempts to make it unique with a great sense of style and some interesting new ideas. Unfortunately not all of those new ideas are as interesting as they first seem, and so you're left with an average, but disappointing, experience.
